Dear brethren,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to you today with a heartfelt request for sponsorship to support the basic education of my siblings and me. We are a family of eight siblings from Kenya, striving to overcome financial constraints and pursue our educational aspirations.

Allow me to provide you with some background information about our family. All eight of us siblings fall within the age brackets of 6 to 21, with three of us currently in primary school and two in high school. However, myself and two other siblings have unfortunately been unable to proceed with our education due to financial limitations.

As a means of generating income, we have been working as manual laborers, earning a meager wage of $3 per day. This amount is far from sufficient to cover even our basic needs, let alone support educational expenses. Our parents are also engaged in manual labor and earn a modest income of $3 to $5 per day, which is primarily used to provide for the needs of our other five siblings.

Despite our challenging circumstances, the three of us who have completed high school have managed to perform well academically. Specifically, I achieved a B grade, while the other two siblings obtained a B- each. Considering the squalid living conditions we have endured, we firmly believe that with access to a supportive educational environment, we can excel academically and fulfill our potential.

It is in light of these circumstances that we humbly seek the support of well-wishers and organizations such as yours. We kindly request any financial assistance or sponsorship that you can offer to help us pursue our education and create a brighter future for ourselves and our community.

We have prepared a detailed budget outlining the approximate costs required to cover our tuition fees, books, uniforms, and other necessary expenses. Please find below the breakdown of the budget:

  1. Primary School Fees (3 siblings):
    • Tuition fees: $3500 per year
    • Books and supplies: $500 per year
    • Uniforms and school materials: $600 per year Total: $4600 per year
  2. High School Fees (2 siblings):
    • Tuition fees: $4000 per year
    • Books and supplies: $1250 per year
    • Uniforms and school materials: $800 per year Total: $6050 per year
  3. College/Higher Education Expenses (3 siblings):
    • Tuition fees: $11600 per year
    • Books and supplies: $2450 per year
    • Living expenses: $3600 per year Total: $17650 per year

Grand Total: $28300 per year
